This is my 15th year in education and this is my 7th year at Manvel High School. I am from Friendswood, Texas and graduated from Clear Brook High School. I was very active in the FFA for four years. I was a chapter officer, participated in livestock shows as well as LDE and CDE teams. Receiving my Lonestar Degree was a great accomplishment.  Also I was on a state winning Horticulture team that placed in state and 25th at Nationals. I attended Alvin Community College and then went on to Sam Houston State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a minor in Education. Growing up, both of my sets of grandparents had farms in which they raised livestock. My two inspirations were my dad, who was an FFA member and my agriculture teacher, Mrs. Gail Pieniazek.  My ag teacher is the reason I went on to become an ag teacher myself. I love my job. I have two children, a 13 year old son and an eight year old daughter.
